1. Augusta Academy has been called Liberty Hall, Liberty Hall Academy, Washington Academy and Washington College. In 1781 it was renamed Washington and Lee University.

2. Harvard College, founded in 1636.

3. We now know it as the University of Pennsylvania.

4. It is the College of William and Mary, located in Williamsburg, Va.
