Steve Burton (formerly Jason on "General Hospital" and Dylan on The Young and the Restless") is returning to "Days of Our Lives" in the role of Harris Michaels. According to People magazine, he should start airing in April. No word on his storyline. The character first came on the show 30-plus years ago as a ne'er-do-well who lusted after several teenage girls who wanted no part of him. The character again played by Burton was a Navy seal who terrorized Salem — John, Patch, Paul, etc. He will be involved with the same characters.

Burton is jazzed. "I owe so much to "General Hospital," but that part of my career is in the past. I grew up on that show. They were very good to me," he said. Star and show parted ways when he refused to take the COVID vaccine. At the time, he asked for a religious deferment, which was denied. He took his lead from Joe Rogan, a blogger who is volatile and conservative. "There was no drama when we could not reach a decision. We shook hands," he said of his exit from "GH."

Burton has never been a basher. Unlike Jason, he likes to laugh and joke. While he and his castmates had different political views, they got along. The crew loved him. He would bring them In-N-Out burgers and other treats. His stay as Dylan on "Y&R" brought him his third Daytime Emmy. It has not been a great year for him. He learned his wife Sheree, who he met on "GH," became pregnant with her fourth child. She tagged the baby bump on social media. He posted he was not the father. A bit of a bash. Burton is a traditional guy. When Amber Tamblyn played Emily, they had to do a scene where he gave her CPR. She,12, wanted to lock lips. Nope from Burton. Growing up in the Cleveland area, he had a mixed-bag life. His stepmother often claimed to be his real mother. He adored his biological mom, Tory, but they were not always together. He and his half-brother Eddie. his stepmom's son, were and are very close. He adores his three kids and he always has a million business projects, restaurants, mail-order supplements, exercise programs. None of them have worked out, but he is always looking for the next business.

Arianne Zucker (Nicole on "Days") is leaving the show in April. She says she started thinking about leaving two years ago. In June, she and boyfriend Shawn Christian (formerly Daniel on "Days" became engaged in June. She made national headlines when Donald Trump made a questionable comment. Seeing the gorgeous model, he asked his aid for a Tic Tac, in case they kissed. They did not kiss.

Michael Damian is returning to "Y&R" on Dec 22. He will mix it up with his mom, Phyllis and son, Danny Jr. The actor jokes he will be doing this when he is 90. He and Cricket (Laura Lee Bell) were teen lovers.
