Genie Francis is saying goodbye to New England and headed back to LA and the "General Hospital" set. She took some additional time off due to the coronavirus. She now believes the stringent set COVID-19 protocol makes it safe.

COVID-19 has extinguished Netflix's female wrestling series "GLOW." The show had started filming its fourth and final season. In March, filming stopped. There was no way to social distance. The show centered around 10 women who went body-to-body in the ring. In the '80s, beautiful women wrestlers had fans who watched them on television or attended matches. It was a fan favorite show, and many are crushed by the coronavirus-induced cancelation.

They are back, Kim Delaney and "General Hospital" character Jackie Templeton, last seen on-air in 1982 when Demi Moore played the quixotic character. With Holly off the canvas, Robert Scorpio dated Jackie for a short time. Jackie came to Port Charles in search of her sister, Laura. When Genie Francis took a break, a new Laura arrived. Viewers did not buy the rose by any name theory. Fans were upset when it appeared all Luke cared about was his lover being named Laura. The story fizzled. The Templeton sisters exited Port Charles. "GH" is being true to the history. When Lulu decided to write an expose, she contacted Jackie, an avenging reporter who was a hybrid of the National Enquirer and The New York Times. Her stories were always truthful, but with a dash of spice. Jackie has a major town connection. Chase is her son and the stepmother Finn hates. With his mother only dead a few months, Finn bristled when dear old dad married her. Here is a little suggestion. Michael e knight, who plays Martin, and Delaney, played beloved brother and sister on "All My Children." Give them a few scenes together

Since her show returned to the airwaves last month, Ellen has seen ratings ebb and flow. Her mea culpa show apologizing for what was an expose of the toxic conditions on the set grabbed big numbers. Ellen's "It was not me; it was my producers" excuse did not go over well. She needed to own it. She did not. In the ensuing weeks, her ratings have floundered like a carp trying release from an intrepid fisherman's reel. Things are not going well for Ellen's long-ago lover Anne Heche. Heche played Marley/Carly on "Another World" She and Ellen were a couple for nearly three years. Last night, Heche was voted off "Dancing With The Stars." The same thing happened the week before, but the judges saved her. This week, they showed her the door. Set insiders say it was not a graceful exit. There was flouncing, door slamming and screeching. Some of the yelling may have come from new host Tyra Banks, who replaced Tom Bergeron. No one knows why the hosting switch took place. Bergeron is easy to work with, and connected with contestants and the audience. Banks is trying, but the show is riddled with issues. Viewers may give her a chance. She, unlike Ellen, is owning her mistakes and asking for some time to get it right.
