DEAR STACY: Robin Thicke's wife, Paula Patton, is beautiful beyond belief. What is her ethnicity? How about a little background? — Dave D., Whitefish Bay, Wis.

DEAR DAVE: The Los Angeles-born actress of "2 Guns," "Precious," "Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol" and "Baggage Claim" is the daughter of attorney Charles Patton, who is African-American, and school teacher Joyce Patton, who is Caucasian. She graduated from USC Film School magna cum laude. She and Robin Thicke started dating when they were 14, married in 2005. They have one son, Julian Fuego Thicke, born in April 2010.

DEAR STACY: I would like some information about Lana Parilla, the actress who plays Regina, the evil mayor/queen on "Once Upon a Time." Background, marital status? She is outstanding. — Lee B., Warren, Ohio

DEAR LEE: A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Parrilla is the daughter of the late Puerto Rico-born baseball player/scout Sam Parrilla, who briefly played with the Philadelphia Phillies. Her past series include "Spin City," "Boomtown," "Prison Break," "Swingtown," "Miami Medical" and "Windfall." She was also aboard the fourth season of "24" as Counter Terrorist Unit agent Sarah Gavin. She starred in the Lifetime movie "The Double Life of Eleanor Kendall" and has a long list of episodic guest star roles as well. Parrilla also studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. She reportedly became engaged to boyfriend Fred Di Blasio in April.

DEAR STACY: I loved Edward Albert in "Butterflies Are Free." Whatever happened to him? — Diane K., Thousand Oaks, Calif.

DEAR DIANE: One-time dreamboat Albert, who also starred in such films as "40 Carats," "The Greek Tycoon" and "Midway," along with TV shows including "Beauty and the Beast," died in 2006. He had taken care of his father, beloved actor Eddie Albert, who had Alzheimer's, until the senior Albert's death, and soon after was diagnosed with lung cancer. Some 18 months later, Edward died at age 55.

DEAR STACY: A long time ago, I saw an old movie about a man who dreamed he had killed someone, then woke up with blood on his clothes. I'd really like to see it again, but I can't think of the title or actors. Any chance you can help with this? — Penny R., Chattanooga, Tenn.

DEAR PENNY: There is a really old flick, the 1947 noir film "Fear in the Night," that fits your description. The star was DeForest Kelley, then 27 years old, who was later known as Dr. McCoy on "Star Trek."
