DEAR STACY: I know that Jonathan Taylor Thomas is still acting, but what's up with the other two "Home Improvement" sons, Zachery Ty Bryan and Taran Noah Smith? — D.J.S., West Haven, Conn.

DEAR D.J.S.: Zachery Bryan, as he is now credited, is 25, continues to act and has a long list of post-"Home Improvement" TV and film credits, with recent roles on "Cold Case" and in the big-screen "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." He wed his longtime girlfriend, Carly Matros, a real estate agent, in March. Smith and his wife of five years, Heidi Van Pelt, divorced in February, and his Sherman Oaks, Calif., home was foreclosed on the same month, complete with TMZ.com showing video of the thoroughly trashed abode. Van Pelt, with whom he owned a vegan restaurant, is 16 years older than Smith. They wed shortly after his 17th birthday, and they have a son, Nolan, who turns 2 next month. Smith also was in a highly publicized feud with his parents over his $1.5 million trust fund — but they've reportedly reconciled.

DEAR STACY: I have a $50 bet riding on this question. Are Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin on "The Young and the Restless") and Matt LeBlanc (Joey on "Friends") related? Please say it's so! — Deborah B., Augusta, Ga.

DEAR DEBORAH: It ain't so, sorry. They're not related.

DEAR STACY: I was watching a repeat of "Cold Case," and there was a teenage dancer called Maurice Hall. I did not catch the credits. Could you tell me who he is and something about him? — Jane, Queens, N.Y.

DEAR JANE: That was Nathan Halliday, who turned 19 after making the "Shuffle-Ball-Change" episode you describe — and who's caught an enormous amount of attention for it, judging by his presence on the Internet on sites such as Teen Idols 4 You and Gorgeous Blond Guys. Halliday attended a performing-arts school in his native Albuquerque, N.M., and trained as a dancer for five years before deciding to move to Los Angeles to try to make it in show business. He landed "Cold Case" just as he was moving.

DEAR STACY: We enjoy watching the western-series reruns of "Bat Masterson" on Encore Westerns Channel. Could you please tell us who sings the closing song? The end credits don't list the singer. — J.B., Waco, Texas

DEAR J.B.: The question of the identity of the anonymous singer has been plaguing "Bat Masterson" aficionados for years, and looking around for the answer, I can see why. As Frank Charles writes on a "Bat Masterson" theme-song-controversy entry on a Gene Barry fan site, "Unfortunately, many of the studio musicians of the day were never credited. They drove across the San Fernando Valley, doing quick jobs and moving on to the next without a mention or concern, just happy to get the work." Internet forums have been devoted to the "mystery singer," with candidates mentioned including studio singers Mike Stewart, William Lee and Thurl Ravenscroft, who voiced numerous Disneyland attractions and did a voiceover as Tony the Tiger — but it wasn't Ravenscroft. If anyone has a definitive answer, please let me know!

DEAR STACY: How old is "Dateline's" Chris Hansen? Where is he from, what school did he attend, is he married? — Jamie T., Yonkers, N.Y.

DEAR JAMIE: Hansen, 48, hails from Michigan, graduated with a degree in communications from Michigan State University, and began his television career as an investigative reporter in Detroit. The winner of seven Emmy Awards, he lives in Connecticut with his wife, Mary Joan, and two sons.

DEAR STACY: Recently, while watching all three "Godfather" movies, I noticed that Nicholas Cage was mentioned in the credits of the 1990 "Godfather III." I watched it over and over and could not find him in the movie. Can you let me know what scene he was in? — Helen C., Brooklyn, N.Y.

DEAR HELEN: Nicolas Cage reportedly was considered for a role in his Uncle Francis's third "Godfather" movie but didn't make it in — though Coppola did direct Cage in his 1983 "Rumble Fish." Perhaps you saw the credit of one of the "III" executive producers, Nicholas Gage, a Greek who was born in 1939.

DEAR STACY: Was John Daly, who hosted "What's My Line?" the father of Tyne and Tim Daly, or are they related in some other way? – Samantha H., Cleveland, Ohio

DEAR ROY: SAMANTHA: The late newsman and game-show host John Daly, who hailed from Johannesburg, South Africa, was no relation to the actor Dalys. The late actor James Daly ("Medical Center") was Tyne's and Tim's father.
