DEAR H.B.: You are correct, Parrilla portrayed agent Sarah Gavin on the fourth season of "24." Her other series include "Spin City," "Boomtown," "Prison Break," "Swingtown," "Miami Medical" and "Windfall." She starred in the Lifetime movie "The Double Life of Eleanor Kendall" and has a long list of episodic guest-star roles as well. Parrilla, who studied at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her father was the late Sam Parrilla, a pro baseball player who played for the Philadelphia Phillies in 1970. Parrrilla is engaged to software executive Fred Di Blasio.

DEAR DICK: The two-time Emmy winner, who retired from show acting in 1998, recently made a rare public appearance in a tribute video to Baseball Hall of Famer Tom Glavine that was shown at the Believe gala in Atlanta benefitting childhood cancer research. You may recall she left show business after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder, and then returned to the public eye in 2012 when she disclosed her long-time relationship with partner Martie Allen and said she'd decided to come out as a gay woman to help to help young lesbians deal with bullying. She has reportedly taught acting at a private school in LA.
