DEAR STACY: Wasn't there supposed to be a film biography of Hillary Rodham Clinton on the way? What happened? — JLMdn

DEAR JLMdn: There was more talk than action. Both NBC and CNN scrapped plans to make documentaries about the Democratic presidential hopeful in 2013 after the Republican National Committee voted to bar both networks from their 2016 presidential debates in protest. Previously, there was also a 2003 project based on Gail Sheehy's Vanity Fair piece about Clinton. It was at one time expected to star Sharon Stone — but it was stalled before reaching the starting gate.

DEAR STACY: Is Krysten Ritter of any relation to the late John Ritter? — James W., Cedar Rapids, Iowa

DEAR JAMES: Krysten Ritter of "Breaking Bad" and "Don't Trust the B - - - - in Apartment 23" is not related to the Ritter clan that includes John's son, Jason, and his father, Tex.

DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to Angela Watson, who played Karen on "Step by Step"? — A Fan, Albuquerque, New Mexico

DEAR FAN: Watson, now 40, hasn't acted much since the series concluded in 1998. Notoriously, she discovered that her parents had spent $2.5 million of her earnings as a juvenile actress over 10 years. She went on to found an organization called Child Actors Supporting Themselves to help young actors and athletes manage their finances.

DEAR STACY: Is Craig T. Nelson married? I always enjoy his acting. — F.P., Rancho Cucamonga, California

DEAR F.P.: Yes, he has been married to his second wife, karate instructor Doria, since 1987. He once confessed that he was better about doing chores in his second marriage: "When you are married to a karate black belt, you don't wait to be asked to make dinner and take out the garbage."
