Mars in Scorpioq

Comment

Mars will bust a move out of the diplomatic realm of Libra (which wasn't the easiest placement for such an aggressive planet) and into the straightforward realm of Scorpio (a more comfortable fit for the scorpion). Also, it's the eve of the Leo new moon and a perfect time to start thinking about how you'd like to be perceived in the weeks to come.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). The children in your life will remind you to stay playful. This leads to a series of actions and reactions. By the end, you'll see how you've shaken things up and blown the minds of some who thought they knew you well.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You usually try to see things from the other person's point of view before you jump to a conclusion. You validate people around you, and so they are crazy about you. Can you blame them?

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The game is long, with many matches. Champions keep going until they win. Tonight, as you acknowledge a loved one's contribution, this person will turn around and give you more than before.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Any investment that makes your environment healthier and more beautiful has numerous benefits. Also note that if you feel good while you're working, you'll make more money.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The thing to credit for some of your friendships is vicinity. Would you be friends if you weren't right next to each other so much of the time? The fact is: You are friends, and you're making the best of it.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Humbleness has its place, and you intuitively know when and where that is. That's why you'll be taught a valuable lesson, and it won't even have to cause you pain or inconvenience.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There's a traditional approach that will likely solve today's problem, but you won't take that one. That one seems too easy. Instead, you'll look at several different approaches and come up with a blend that's all you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Between the emotional weather and the actual weather, you'll be dealing with the elements. Tonight: Embrace formality. Dress up. You add the glamour that's needed to make ordinary happenings seem magical.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Be proactive. Self-assigned tasks are lucky for your confidence and, later, for your bank account. Also, discuss the financial end of a deal upfront to avoid wasting time.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You know how to have a good time, and the others will follow your lead.

As for the grumpy ones, you simply don't have the energy to give them these days. Gracefully duck out.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). There are aspects of adulthood that make you feel very alone in the world, but luckily you consider solitude to be a natural and tolerable state. Being able to stand as one is a key part of being a mature human.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Tonight, someone needs your compassion and your instruction, too. You've just completed the lesson this person is about to begin. Being a guide will reinforce all you've learned.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (July 25). This year brings demanding standards, which you rise to fulfill. Relationships thrive as you grow in spiritual generosity. August rewards tenacity. The breakthrough will happen just after you've been tempted to give up, but instead you persevere. Family grows in September. Financially, October, May and June are the best months. Aquarius and Aries people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 33, 25, 1 and 14.

WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: ARIES: With loved ones, you don't try very hard to prove a point, because if they are listening well, you don't have to. TAURUS: Relationships are all built through steady gains. So don't try too hard in the opening stages. Pace yourself. GEMINI: Embrace what's going on now, and your romantic future could come along this afternoon instead of next year. CANCER: The best relationships grow naturally because you're so engaged in the world around you. LEO: Love doesn't envy, nor does it boast. VIRGO: You feel you're competing with another for the attention of your love or potential love, and that's because you are! What kind of game will you play? LIBRA: Love manifests in thought, word and action. When it doesn't, it's not love. SCORPIO: You're true to who you are, and anyone who doesn't like that doesn't have to. SAGITTARIUS: Don't put contingencies on your dating life. Have fun now, just as you are. CAPRICORN: Lead with that playful curiosity — it's so attractive! Also, don't believe all you're told. AQUARIUS: Clear boundaries are an important part of every relationship. PISCES: Love yourself first. That's the only way it will work out.

COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: The sun newly in Leo and the new moon in Leo make the attraction between cats absolutely irresistible. It's true that two Leos in one relationship can be a bit much — these two both need lots of attention, as they are performers at heart. But the good news is that they're also extremely generous audience members when it's not their turn. As long as they recognize when to trade off, they're fine!
