Nick spends the day thinking about all the good and bad he has done. Conjuring up Cassie, Nick is crushed by the memories of Cassie's death. "Marlena" has Tripp bashed over the head by Jan. Rescuing Kayla, Steve assures her she is safe. Ben and Ciara are taken to a safe house. Rafe agrees to let them visit with Doug and Julie. Having them where she wants them, Mardevil sends a fireball to destroy everyone and everything on the site. Johnny and Chanel return from Italy as a married couple.
