"General Hospital's" Emme Rylan (Lulu) has gone through more trauma than her trouble-prone character. In real life, her beloved sister succumbed to cancer. Rylan was touched when fans started a GoFundMe page that made enough to allow her sister to die at home surrounded by her loved ones. The home she rented with her three children and their dad was sold, having her scramble for a new place in LA. Rylan dealt as best she could with all these struggles.

And then she learned that she had been let go from "General Hospital" after more than half a decade. A soap trouper, Rylan kept the axing a secret until one of the big guys said it was OK. Continuing in trouper mode, she is not saying if Lulu is making it out dead or alive. She is happy to let fans know what she and her family are doing now that she is out of a job and house. "We are doing something crazy. We are packing up family, pets and bags and going out on the open road. With the pandemic, we think it is the perfect time. Sort of like 'On the Road' questioning," says Rylan. The actress says she will miss the cast and the crew. "It really is like a family. We will keep in touch. That is not the same as seeing them all the time."

Two members of "The Young and the Restless" staff have tested positive for COVID-19. Those with positive results are being forced to quarantine, as is anyone with whom they had contact. The show will continue taping.

Courtney Hope took her Sally Spectra from "The Bold and the Beautiful" to "The Young and the Restless." Since the two shows share a location, Hope is with familiar faces. "It was like a hello wave. I knew who I would like to work with," says Hope. "My first scene was with Peter Bergman who plays Jack. He knows all the ins and outs of making it work. He is so glad to help. Great actor. Prepared and giving."

She also got to interact with Tracey Bregman (Lauren). "We had so much fun taping our scenes," says Hope. A few days after her "B&B" axing, she learned she and Sally were headed to "Y&R." "I felt guilty because I had to keep it a secret. My fans were sending me these wonderful texts about how much they were going to miss me and Sally. I could not let them know it was all going to be fine." As for her storyline — that is a secret. She has no idea what Genoa City has in store for her.
