I love invitations to television weddings. No sitting with a table of strangers, no wondering what present to give and no over-done chicken. As Jerry Seinfeld once said, "Please do not invite me to your wedding. Just tell me you are getting married, what gift you want and where to send it."
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, the latest to join other "Bachelor" couples who have walked down the aisle, will share a dramatic new chapter of their love story with millions of viewers and Bachelor Nation when their much-anticipated wedding is televised live ("The Bachelor: Sean and Catherine's Wedding," Sunday, January 26, 2014, 8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. This will mark the first time ever a "Bachelor" wedding has been telecast live.
Sean and Catherine will join Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter; Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney; and Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenberg, as the fourth couple in franchise history to marry.
Sean and Catherine's love story has come full circle at last. Sean began by being one of the favorites to capture Emily Maynard's heart on the eighth edition of "The Bachelorette" in spring 2012. He narrowly missed his goal to find his soulmate when Emily — who all season long called him the "perfect man" — made him the last bachelor eliminated before the finale. It completely blindsided Sean, who finally had been able to admit to Emily that he was in love with her. But when it was his chance to hand out the roses, Sean became smitten with Catherine and proposed.
They are currently living separately in Dallas and are waiting to move in together after they are married. The couple is looking forward to setting up their own home and starting a family once they begin their life as man and wife.

Many a U.S. fan of "Downtown Abbey" was ready to immigrate to the UK when they learned the show's fourth season was airing over there now, but over here not until January. Hold on the your visa because this December, PBS is offering a special addition of "Downtown Abbey." "Return to Downtown Abbey" savors fond memories from the past three seasons and offers a tantalizing taste of season four from the series The New York Times called "an instant classic." Hosted by Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon — a devoted fan of the series who especially admires the writing of fellow Oscar-winner Julian Fellowes — the program includes a mix of behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with creators and cast members, and video clips of favorite moments. "Return to Downtown Abbey" premieres Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings).
"We invite viewers to dive back into the Roaring Twenties as excitement for the new season continues to grow," said Beth Hoppe, Chief Programming Executive and General Manager of General Audience Programming for PBS. "This special shines a light on the most compelling aspects of 'Downtown Abbey' and previews the intriguing things to come."
Last season witnessed the family experience great joy and profound sadness, leaving viewers to ponder these and other questions such as:
—How will Lady Mary cope now that Matthew is gone? Will she find love again?
—How will cousin Rose affect the social order at the majestic English country estate?
—What's in store for Anna and Bates?
—How does Branson adjust to his new role as agent of the estate?
Structured around three themes, "Return to Downtown Abbey" explores "the changing world of 'Downtown Abbey,'" "the women of 'Downtown Abbey,'" and "love and other relationships at 'Downtown Abbey.'" Interviews with creator and writer, Julian Fellowes, and executive producer, Gareth Neame, provide an overview and context for the series and the upcoming season.
