Steve Burton is back — not at "General Hospital," where he played Jason for 25 years. He is headed to "Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem Chapter 2." He is set to play a ne'er-do-well. He met his wife, Sheree, when she was a "GH" intern. The couple who have three children are headed for divorce court. Sheree took to social media to announce she was pregnant, and Burton was not the father. They separated in March. No word on who the father is. He is seeking full custody of the children and does want to pay spousal support. Her post about having a baby by another man has since been deleted.

Ron Carlivati teased to Michael Fairman that one more major character is going to meet their maker. So far, Abby has been murdered, and Lani and Eli left town. He promises two things: It is not Marlena, and this character will never come back from the dead. We hear that, whoever it is, they will be absolutely dead. We will see. "Days" tops the list for people coming back from the dead.

Tom Pelphrey, who won several Daytime Emmys for his portrayal of Jonathan Randall on "Guiding Light," has been nominated for a guest-starring role on "Ozark." His real-life girlfriend, Kaley Cuoco, is up for an Emmy as well.

Greg Vaughan, Eric on "Days," is headed back to "Queen Sugar." The series is about a woman who leaves everything she has to manage a sugar crop. Vaughan plays her love interest as police officer Calvin.

Soaps are like ex-boyfriends; you want them to go away, and then they want you back. "The Bold and the Beautiful" has often seemed ready for a divorce. I was going to do that, but I settled for a separation. Glad I gave the show another chance. This past month, it has been on fire. Not because Sheila set Li's car on fire but because it decided to become the "Hope and Liam Show." The actors involved in the "How crazy is Sheila?" storyline are superb. Only one complaint. You know I was going to complain. For God's sake, Eric is over 50. Why is he talking to his children about his sex life?
