After 45 years, Creators Syndicate has decided to stop distributing my column. I am crushed. However, you can still read me. I will be doing a blog on Medium. Medium is free and offers a plethora of columns — writers on books they love, filmmakers giving behind-the-scenes tidbits, etc. My blog will be "Lynda Hirsch on Entertainment." I am excited as I can cover TV, film, books, true crime, etc. Instead of weekly summaries, I will be doing daily takes.

In my column, I was pretty perfunctory. Just the facts, ma'am. In the daily, I will offer eye roles. What the heck, who choose that outfit? What the writers got wrong and right. Snark is so fun. Please respond to my blogs. I love feedback, negative and positive. I will never criticize the actors. They do it in one take, do the right blocking, no cue cards and have to advance the story. Film and primetime writers are allowed tons of takes.
