Hope says Liam is not with her, and it is obvious Hope still loves Liam. In town with her father, Ivy tells Steffy she has heard from Liam. Deacon is unable to dissuade Quinn from killing Liam. While hiking with Liam, Quinn draws him near a cliff, but as her hand is on Liam's back, she suffers an asthma attack. While Liam is getting Quinn's inhaler from the car, Deacon arrives. Quinn becomes angry that Deacon is still trying to stop her from killing Liam, and she starts to push Deacon toward the cliff's edge. Deacon warns her she cannot keep Liam forever. As Deacon is washed out to sea, Quinn says, "Yes, I can." Bill assures Wyatt even if Liam returns Wyatt will still be an important member of the Spencer Publications — as long as he stays away from crazy Quinn. When Bill suggests that Wyatt has a pattern of falling in love with the women in Liam's life he says his love for Steffy is not like what happened with Hope or Ivy when Quinn tried to manipulate the situation.
