One never knows when inspiration will hit. The muses like to surprise us, like sirens lulling us into unexpected locations, calling out from behind discarded items, speaking through unlikely people. That said, if you wait until something stirs you today, it won't. Get in motion and let the muses catch up to you, if not today then with the eve's lunar change.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Those who are in tune with the nuances are few and far between today. Mostly people are immersed in their own stories but will nonetheless help with yours when you send clear signals about what you're looking for.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The Jimmy Buffet song is titled "If the Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me." That sums up how you feel about a certain someone. The kindest, most mature thing to do is to ignore and ignore with a vengeance.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The paths you tread often stay nice and clear for you, while the ones you don't go down anymore will grow over with weeds and brush until, one day, you can't even see where the path is anymore.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). The venue won't matter as much as the company you keep there. Who are your best playmates? You are better off surrounding yourself with those who bring you healthy pleasure.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're the pace setter in your crowd. Whatever you start off with, they will follow your lead. The questions to answer before you begin: What is your destination? And what time would you like to arrive there together?
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Maybe you're not exactly where you want to be, but there are still definite advantages to your position. Knowing what they are and playing them with courage will move you toward your goal.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You'll be the first to respond to exciting new developments. You'll give your attention, and others will follow. You'll be a thought leader and inspire others to act.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're not sure if you're early or late to the scene. You would love the advice of someone who can see beyond your time. That's why it will be important to ask the elders and the youth what they see in your position.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). The one who has wooed you and won you with past works will have another hit with you today. Because you continue to put yourself in the path of inspiration, you'll soon be the cause of it for someone else.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Just when the sameness of a situation is starting to make people sleepy, you'll wake them up by bringing something special to the moment. It's like it's in your DNA to delight people.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It's not hard to know what the right thing to do is: You simply feel it and you respond. It doesn't even take courage. Looking back on this day you'll be amazed at how effortlessly you surmounted the obstacles.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). If you feel you must justify your position, there's something wrong. Are you perhaps around people who don't understand or support you but are still more than willing to use your offerings for their own purposes?
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 3). It's pretty simple really; you dream it and then you do it! You'll be inclined to push the envelope in a slightly more radical direction over the next 10 weeks. Relationships are well-served by your wild imagination. Professional successes in May lead to a raise or promotion. Cancer and Scorpio adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 14, 16, 29, 50 and 42.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: Venus, the love goddess, slips out of her spiritual robes and is reborn in the youthful Aries part of the sky. The passage favors young love, puppy love, crushes, immature ideals and impulsive moves inspired by adolescent angst or mid-life crises. Venus in Aries is fiery, passionate and possibly quite selfish, as this is the realm of "I am" (not "you are"). With people constantly striving to claim and define themselves, the more evolved, mature ways to show sharing and caring might temporarily become less obvious.
Mercury changes suit, too. As the messenger moves from Aries into the possessive realm of Taurus, possessions become the focus. Who has and who doesn't? These aren't particularly charitable skies so any efforts you make in the name of fair distribution will contribute to the evolution of the planet.
As these changes take place, the Pisces moon will be there to remind us that there is more than one way to wisdom. It could come to you in a reflective moment, or you could follow in the footsteps of the wise and see what they see. Those are the easy ways. The hard way is the most common, painful, time-consuming and reliable. The wisdom you learn from experience will stick with you.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Tapping into his natal Venus and Mars in Aquarius, Alec Baldwin spouts eccentric wisdom as the ambitious network executive Jack Donaghy on the hit television show "30 Rock." Baldwin's real-life ambitions are as lofty as Donaghy's, if not more so. The Aries actor has said, "I wanted to be the president of the United States. I really did. The older I get, the less preposterous the idea seems."
