DEAR STACY: Did anything ever come of the idea of a "Downton Abbey" movie? — GeorgiaB17
DEAR GeorgiaB17: Yes. In June, NBCUniversal International confirmed plans for a big screen edition of the hit series to commence production in 2018. Creator-writer Julian Fellowes has been working on the script, and producer Gareth Neame told Deadline Hollywood that "Julian and I are enthusiastic to do it. And so are the cast." No word on which stars will be aboard or story details as yet.
DEAR STACY: Are the Zucker Brothers who make "Stranger Things" the same brothers who made the wacky comedies back in the 1980s? — G.F., Allentown, Pennsylvania
DEAR G.F.: Not at all. Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer are the 33-year-old identical twins who bring us the hit Netflix series "Stranger Things." The Duffer Brothers. By the way, "Stranger Things" season two will be released on Halloween.
DEAR STACY: Can you tell me if Bonnie Bartlett is still with us? I always admired her acting. — Jennifer N., Chattanooga, Tennessee
DEAR JENNIFER: Yes. The esteemed actress and former Screen Actors Guild director is 88 years old — two years younger than her also highly respected actor husband, William Daniels. You may recall they won Emmys the same night for their acting on "St. Elsewhere." She appeared on a "Parks & Rec" episode in 2013 and a film, "Valediction," in 2011.
DEAR STACY: In the movie "Deadpool," what's the name of the song when he dances with Vanessa at the end of the movie? — Hen-Bar
DEAR HEN-BAR: That is "Careless Whisper," performed by George Michael in his Wham! days.
