Dear Stacy: What is Daren Kagasoff doing these days? Ricky, I miss you! — Cori H., Bellflower, Calif.

DEAR CORI: The former heartthrob (Ricky) of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" has a chiller movie in the pipeline called "Ouija." A group of young people are trying to reach out to a dead friend, but encounter an evil spirit by mistake. Ain't that the way it goes? He plays the skeptic of the group. Look for "Ouija" Oct. 24. Last year, the 26-year-old actor was in a pilot called "Delirium" that was not picked up.

DEAR STACY: We watched "Amazing Grace" for the third time last week, and have been wondering what is new with the lead actor, Ioan Gruffudd. He's so good and handsome, too! Is he married, children? — Claire R., Warren, Ohio

DEAR CLAIRE: The Welsh actor, who's also known for the series "Hornblower" and films including "Fantastic Four," has been cast in an ABC pilot titled "Forever," that's being described as mix of crime drama and science fiction fantasy. (Industry shorthand: "Highlander" meets "Quincy.") Gruffudd and wife Alice have two children.

DEAR STACY: Is Gary Burghoff of "M.A.S.H" still with us? Haven't heard about him in years. True that he was hell to work with? — L.H., Chattanooga, Tenn.

DEAR L.H.: Burghoff, 70, retired from show business long ago, though he did come back to make the Christian film,"Daniel's Lot" in 2010. His is quite the eclectic life. He's responsible for inventions including a fish-attracting tackle device called "Chum Magic." He's a wildlife painter. He's worked as a professional jazz drummer. Twice married and divorced, he has three children. He loves touring the country in his RV. Stories of backstage strife between Burghoff and his former "M.A.S.H." castmates have persisted through the years. In his 2009 book, "To M.A.S.H.and Back," Burghoff wrote about dealing with deep depression while on the show, which led to problems. "My frequent snits and outbursts on the set were inevitably (and instantly) followed by guilt feelings over what I'd just said or done," he wrote. By now, one hopes, everything is forgiven and forgotten.

DEAR STACY: I used to watch a show called "Adventure, Inc." Recently, I heard that the young actor who starred in it had passed away. Is this true? What was the cause? — Lee R., Tacoma, Wash.

DEAR LEE: It is true. Jesse Nilsson died at age 25 of heart failure at his parents' home outside Toronto, Canada, in 2003. He had been a lifetime asthmatic, and was diagnosed with pneumonia in the weeks prior to his death.
