DEAR ELLEN: The actor known to countless "Downton" fans as scheming under butler Thomas Barrow is 39 years old, 6'2" and has a 5-year-old son, Milo, with longtime partner Lauren Chandiram. He hails from Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. He earned business and marketing degrees before following his desire to act and taking classes, supporting himself with day jobs that included bricklaying and packing frozen goods in a factory. Eventually, he managed to land a series role in "Down to Earth" as a womanizing pub landlord. Other roles followed, including that of Liam in Britain's popular "Coronation Street" soap. No news on his next role as yet.
