Well, Hello ...

Is it really possible for people who know each other to start all over as though they don't? If so, this is the week to prove it. It starts with the sun opposing Saturn, an aspect that seems bent on exposing the weak points in relationships, and ends on the Libran new moon. Because the new moon is ruled by retrograde Venus, its fresh start may involve ripping up the old contract and going all the way back to the first "hello."

ARIES (March 21-April 19). With Saturn in your sign pulling against the sun, you're in for a week of tests that reveal the strengths and limits of your partnerships. Does what worked before still fit? And if so, will it also fit the person you are becoming? By Saturday, you'll have a chance to propose new terms. Begin with your truth, then leave enough room for theirs.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). As your guiding planet reverses through Scorpio, twinges of nostalgia pepper your days, and it's nothing to sneeze at — there could actually be potential for reuniting, reexploring or recreating some of the highlights. That emotional tide could also lift an abandoned idea into a promising second life under new circumstances.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). If it's bringing you joy and it's not hurting anyone else, dive in deeper. You don't need to bring it to the committee to see if they like it, too. If you ask around, they'll have plenty to say, but too many opinions can drain the fun from that good idea that's already "so you." Believe in yourself and go. The right people can catch up later.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You like to think it's not all about money, but this week, what money can buy is very much the predominant theme. Money reveals the true terms of an arrangement. Who pays, who benefits and who assumes the risk? This is your golden chance to revise a fee, divide an expense or give an undervalued contribution its proper price.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Remember that time you wanted to talk for hours about the problem, the solutions and the possibilities from there, and then, five minutes in, you realized it wasn't going to work? Well, this week, the stalled conversation gets a second chance. You have new words for what you once struggled to explain. Jupiter in your sign helps you say it with warmth.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Household roles and family expectations come up for renegotiation. Someone's been doing so much more of the work, it's pretty strange you haven't noticed until now. When you give one person a new job description, everyone else's role has to change, too. The new moon favors making home more supportive of the life you want beyond it.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There's nothing like reintroducing yourself to people who think they already know you by pulling out a few surprises to prove that they actually got it all wrong. Seeing their jaws drop is cinematic. The new moon in your sign supports a personal relaunch, while retrograde Venus throws in the stunning twist.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). The deeper theme this week is recognition. When you're around people who only want to see you for your role in their lives, it makes you long for what makes you feel more vividly yourself. Venus retrograde in your sign reminds you of something that once touched this individual kind of joy. An old desire, look, talent or admirer comes back around.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). One look through the old computer files will reveal the old dreams and the former way of thinking. You may be amused by some of the things you cared about. An old friend or former group figures in. You get to see whether your current dreams still fit here. A shared ambition could give the connection a fresh purpose.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Even relationships that are just fine will get a second look this week because, when it comes down to it, has "fine" ever really been enough for you? Your standard is an ideal you saw long ago, either in reality or fiction, that continues to give you hope for how good it can be between two people.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Here comes the urge to travel, study, teach or publish. This is more than a whim. In fact, you pursued an idea like this before but lacked something you needed to pull it off. Well, you're back in business, with more experience and new ways of making it work. Someone from your past can help you revive it.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Intimacy comes with unspoken contracts. The closer you are to a person, the less you have to speak the agreement. You learn through experience what plays, what's preferred and what the other person is likely to do next. Of course, things unspoken can also be misunderstood. The new moon at the end of the week gives you a chance to get clear, and if necessary, reset.

THIS WEEK'S BIRTHDAYS: In your Year of the Venus Touch, you simply know beauty. You acquire it, create it, point to it and enjoy it. Ask the flowers and the peacocks — beauty makes the world go round. More highlights: Hunches pay off, especially financially and politically. Where groups of people are involved, you navigate with charm and fairness and become a trusted leader who doesn't need the title to prove it. You have the respect, loyalty and service of people around you. There's a healing in your family.
