Love is definitely a heated part of the arrangement, with a Venus conjunction later in the week.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Your will is strong and so are your abilities. Furthermore, what you want may indeed be what is best for everyone. Without diplomacy, though, your fantastic ideas won't get their chance. The qualities needed for success this week will be patience, charm, kindness and modesty.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). This week will broaden you in key ways. You'll answer a call of duty. The tasks required of you won't be difficult. The hardest part is what you have to give up in order to tend to this business — that is to say, the activities you are so used to being able to do whenever you want. GEMINI (May 21-June 21). When work is important to you, you're strictly hands-on. You wouldn't dream of passing off your responsibilities to someone who couldn't handle them as well. Also, this week, it doesn't matter how long the job takes, only that it's done right. Your mindset will make you successful.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). As the lunar spawn of the zodiac, the irresistible gravity of the moon is forever yours to command. Whole oceans obey this force. The moon manages its powers of attraction through change, and you'll do it in a similar way this week. You'll pull in something beautiful.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Self-talk will be a key to managing the week. You'll remind yourself of many things: that you're playing the long game; that you're learning how things work around your part of the world; that there are many moving parts to the venture. With awareness you'll catch on to all you need to know.

It will take a while before this project you're involved in becomes all about you. Winning will depend first on making other people look good.

For every person you meet, you'll think of something you can do to make his or her life a little better. Maybe it's just a smile or a civil acknowledgement of respect. The importance of these gestures cannot be underestimated.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It's very good to have partners who don't agree with you all the way. These people will keep you in check, challenging you to understand the world differently. No one is all right and no one is all wrong. Surround yourself with people who respect you. Respect is more important than agreement.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). There's a balance to be struck in terms of ego and selflessness. If you're not on your own side, who is? If you're only on your own side, who does that make you? The give-and-take will be more obvious this week, especially in your most personal and central relationships.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Your daily doings will come under scrutiny. It's not about what you do; it's about why you do it. This is the question that seems easy at first, until it's not.
