For years, "General Hospital" devoted an episode to the nurses' ball. The charity was for AIDS awareness.
A few years back, the "GH" regime at the time cut the ball. It was suggested that it cost too much money to produce.
Thank goodness the new regime realizes how important the event was to the show, the fans and AIDS.
??In essence, it is a big talent contest, with members of the hospital strutting or singing their stuff. Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe), who was always a major part of the ball, is returning for the event, which is slated to air Dec. 10. Herring, one of the most beautiful and kindest actresses in the world, is thrilled to be returning, no matter how long she will be staying.
Now if, they would bring back Bobbie (Jackie Zeman), the real life of the "GH" charity party. ??
