November 1 is a much-watch day for "Young and Restless" viewers. That is the day when the truth about Sully — aka Christian — is revealed. You cannot just blame Patty — she is crazy. Cunning Hilary is also part of the reveal, which will cause her to lose everything she cares about: power, control, money and her man — especially if he loses his fortune. On November 1, Sharon, Dylan, Nik, Nikki and Paul will see their world torn apart. Mariah will also suffer. Of course, Chelsea knows Adam is really Christian's biological dad; that is a tie that will be kept secret for a while. Folks who have seen the show (which taped last month) say it is one of the most powerful episodes "Y&R" has done in its history. That is saying a lot. With Steve Burton (Dylan) exiting in December, this episode will show the beginning of the end for this character. We will not tell you how he is taken off the canvas — be sure to have Kleenex handy.

When Robb Derringer's time as Sloane on "General Hospital" was cut short, we were sad. Derringer was easy on the eyes and is a terrific actor. "Days of our Lives" made nothing of that. When they needed to cast Scooter — a sex addict and math teacher — he got the part. He will pop up next month.

"Days" also realizes how wonderful the character of Anne is. Even with Theresa, her partner in crime, leaving Salem, Anne will return. The reveal of her mother will be a shocking and wonderful surprise, a real blast from the past.

Things will be changing for the 2016 daytime Emmy's.
