At the end of the heated discussion, father and son say they love each other. Katie and Ridge vow to protect Eric from the cunning Quinn. Quinn and Carter can't keep their hands off of each other. Designing fashions with Thomas, Hope is pleased with their friend/business arrangements.

"THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS": Victor is pleased when Ashland gives Victoria a portrait of herself to put on her office wall. Gains tells Ashland instead of $300,000 a year he wants $300 million immediately. Ashland begins to move money around to make the blackmail payment. Billy confronts Gaines with the knowledge that he is blackmailing Ashland. Victor shows up at Gaines's hotel room, although they realize they will not make good football co-coaches on Christian's team. The couple teams up to learn Ashland's real identity. Abby and Ashland bond. Everyone heads to Italy. Jack and Phyllis admit they will always love each other.

"DAYS OF OUR LIVES": John realizes something is wrong with Marlena, but is unaware she has been possessed by the devil. Doug, aware of Marlena's possession, tries to warn Julie. Julie asks Marlena to treat Doug. Marlena, wanting Doug out of the way, puts her life and death plan into action. Doug fights to regain control. Kayla and Steve are thrilled when Abe and Paulina announce their wedding plans. Paulina fears her secrets about Lani will be discovered. Eli is concerned by the awkward discussions between Marlena and Doug. Philip apologizes to Brady for accusing him of hacking into his computer. Brady appears to accept the apology, but secretly questions Phillip's motives. Gwen is upset when Xander is arrested for drug-dealing; she knows he's taking the fall for her. When Chad decides to send Gabi and Jake packing, they move in with Ava and Rafe. Ava hides her displeasure with the living arrangements.

"GENERAL HOSPITAL": Everyone is stunned when Sonny arrives in Port Charles. Jason is melancholy when he learns his marriage to Carly is invalid. At the gym, Britt finds Jason taking his anger out on a punching bag. Although words are not spoken, it is obvious Britt and Jason long for each other. Learning that Liesl is being held against her will in Greece, Jason offers to rescue her. Britt declines the offer. Maxie is horrified when she learns that Nina knew Sonny was alive. Fearful of the stalker, Ava goes to Spain. In a rare co-parenting moment, Karly, Ava and Sonny decide to do what is best for Avery. Esme moves in to the estate with Spencer. Trina tells Cameron she thinks Esme is the stalker. Valentin and Anna realize Peter is alive. Anna tells Valentin to back off, when he says he will put a bullet through Peter's heart.
