"Under the Dome" lost 15 percent of its audience on its second outing. That means lots of people who watched the debut decided not to watch the second episode. It did beat its competition ("Siberia" on NBC and "Mistress" on ABC). CBS would be happier if it had not shed that much of the show's original numbers.

TNT has ordered a fourth season of "Falling Skies," the epic drama produced by DreamWorks Television and Executive Producer Steven Spielberg and starring Noah Wyle. Currently airing Sundays at 10 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.

According to TNT, "Falling Skies" is averaging 5.8 million viewers in live-plus-7 delivery and ranks as basic cable's No. 1 scripted series with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 for the summer to date. TNT plans to launch the 10-episode fourth season in the summer of 2014.

DEXTER: It has been six months since Deb killed LaGuerta. The time has not been kind to her. Quitting the police force, she is now a private eye. When not snooping, she is bedding down with every man in town, doing drugs and cursing Dexter.

Back on the police force, Dex is concerned when he learns El Sapo, a man Deb is working with, is not a fence but a hit man. At Deb's, Dex tries to assure her she is not evil. Anthony, one of Deb's drug buddies, comes at Dex with a knife. Dex overpowers and kills him. Deb tells him to get out of her life. Batista, crushed by LaGuerta's death, is back on the force and determined to find LaGuerta's killer — and the Bay City Butcher. Batista hires Dr. Vogel, who deals with serial killers. She tells Batista that serial killers lack empathy. Meeting with Dex, Vogel lets him know she knows Harry's code. Jamie and Quinn hide their affair from Batista.

UNDER THE DOME: Barbie has a nightmare in which he recalls getting into a scuffle with Julia's husband, Pete, over money. The two men fight over a gun. The pistol goes off, killing?Julia's husband. Barbie buries the body. Chained in the Rennie's cellar, Angie's efforts to get free are stymied. A crazed Junior hunts down Barbee and starts beating him. When Junior comes to the cellar where he is holding Angie, she lyingly tells him she slept with Barbie. Junior picks a fight with Barbie. Linda is heartsick over Duke's death. She considered him her father. Rennie and the Reverend act as if they are sad about Duke's death, but they see it as a way to keep their secret about the propane. The Reverend breaks into Duke' house to make certain there is no information about the shady deal. While searching, the Reverend kicks over wastebasket mixed with propane. The house catches fire and burns down. With Duke dead, Linda takes charge. Andy, a fellow cop, does not want to follow her orders. He takes his gun and shoots at the dome. The bullet ricochets, killing Linda's brother in law
