"THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL": Thomas finds a message from Vinny from beyond the grave. The message says he committed suicide so Thomas could have a shot at being with Hope. Everyone gets behind Liam for being duped into thinking he ran down Vinny. On the other hand, everyone thinks Bill's cover-up scheme caused this mess. Justin tires of being a gofer to the Spencers and decides to take over while Bill and Liam are in prison. Since Thomas knows what really went down, Carter decides he has to keep him away. Carter grabs Thomas and places him in a cage in the Forrester shipping room. Thomas tells him he understands why he hates Bill — he hates him, too. Refusing to free Thomas, Justin says he is going to see to it that Liam and Bill have nothing. He is tired of Bill doing everything for his sons and giving him crumbs. Quinn gets nervous when she spots Eric talking to Carter. When Paris shows up, Quinn panics, fearing she will expose that Quinn and Carter slept together. Quinn knows her marriage is over if this comes out. Quinn tells Eric she would like to renew their vows.

"THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS": Sally and Tara scheme to get rid of Summer by getting her a job offer in Italy. Kyle is heartbroken by Summer's decision to take the job. Summer lies when she tells Kyle he loves her more than she loves him. Lauren tells Summer she is not going to accept her resignation. Jack is curious why Sally is in such a good mood. She does not tell him how she got Summer away from Kyle. Tara thinks that she can win Kyle's love while he is fawning over toddler Harrison. When Nick cannot dissuade Summer from going to Italy, he says he is taking her on the company jet. Lily is not thrilled with Billy's desire to stick it to Victor. Victoria does not listen when Billy tells her Ashland is not someone she should be involved with. Abby feels calmer when she learns Chance is still on a secret mission for the government and in good health. Abby is pleased when her ex-husband Ben comes to town. Ben tells Abby his son Max's brain tumor cannot be cured. Ben says he is horrified that Max made her have a miscarriage. She says the boy was ill when he tripped her down the stairs. Sharon and Rey head for a Florida vacation. Mariah is beginning to show a baby bump and is having strange food cravings. Amanda is horrified when she realizes Sutton and her mother were responsible for her father's demise.

Chloe moves in with Philip. Nicole fears Eric will learn about her and Xander. Lucas tells Sami they belong together. Sami thinks her life will be over if EJ realizes she and Lucas made love. Paulina is upset about Chanel and Allie's bake shop. Paulina has a secret that she refuses to tell — but knows it will be exposed. Jack comes to Xander's defense when Julie says she wants him out of the Horton house. Ben sees Ciara and wonders if it a dream.

He assures her nothing will ever change about the way he feels about Carly. Everyone is thrilled when Monica is made head of the hospital. When Britt wonders if Monica is going to replace her as chief of staff, she tells her she has not decided. Alexis is placed in solitary confinement. Nina wonders what will happen when people learn she knew Sonny was alive and kept it secret. Monica puts Liz and Bobbie back to work full time at the nurse's station. Finn is thrilled Chase is going to live, but is sorry that his brother will have to re-learn to walk. "Mike" is thrilled that Elijah is in jail where he belongs. Phyllis is pleased that business has picked up at Tan-O. "Mike" tells her he does not care about his past life — he is happy with his present one. At Franco's grave side, Liz realizes how much she misses him. Cameron tells Jason he is sorry he thought he killed Franco. Jason says he understands and knows how much Cameron loved Franco and how he was a good father figure for all of the boys.
