Zende's repeated attempts to become intimate with Nicole again come to a screeching halt when she suggests that they wait until after the baby arrives. Vadim backs off. After agreeing to attend an AA meeting, Eric runs off. When Eric confronts Jennifer about her popping pain pills, she reminds him that it was the car accident he caused that injured her back. Eric apologizes, and she says she and Lucas will be there for him 24/7. Kate agrees to be bought out by Theresa and Nicole. Nicole tells Eric she cannot believe that the man she always thought was the best person in the world could turn into the man he has become — the man whose drunk driving killed Daniel. JJ cannot believe Abigail is marrying Chad and moving into the DiMera mansion. Shawn is thrilled when he is hired on at the Salem Police Department. Belle is stunned when Philip reveals Deimos is blackmailing him over something that happened decades ago: A girl died from an overdose is his room. When he found her he feared he would be blamed so he moved her to another room. He fears what it will do to Victor if he finds out. Joey is horrified when he finds Steve and Ava kissing — unaware that Steve is trying to get Ava to release Kayla. Kayla plans her escape. Andre vows that Hope will pay for killing Stefano. With Victor out of town, Adam must deal with the Luca situation. When Luca threatens to go to the police about Noah, Adam makes a deal. Sage finds a book In Dr. Anderson's office about dealing with paralysis. Nick is stunned when Dr. Anderson says she loves him and pulls him into a kiss. When Faith says she wants to live with Dylan and Sharon, a reluctant Nick agrees.
