There are but two more days of the Leo sun. This year's passage is ruled by the moon in Libra, who seems intent on tallying up all that's happened so far this summer. The most thorough accounting will involve another person recounting and fact checking. This process will likely be casual and could take the form of friends reminiscing.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Not everything you endeavor will be something you do for the long haul. Knowing this might take the pressure off, freeing you to follow curiosity and enjoy what you learn, no strings attached.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Right now it's better to be an expert at one thing than to scatter your knowledge in many directions. It will pay to narrow your focus and master a certain skill.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Action doesn't look like action now. It's occurring in your head, where it should be occurring. Strategy will win in the end. Time will count all your "thinking it over" as progress.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). When you think about all the times that something positive came out of unexpected changes, it will be easier for you to embrace change and have faith that it is happening for the good of all.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Your visual sense is strong now, and you will find pleasant ways to use it in real time, in retrospection and in prospection. You will have a wonderful time seeing, remembering and imagining.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Friends and casual contacts make you aware of a way in which you might earn or save money. Invest in learning. The more you know the more control you'll have over your life.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your timetable is very different from that of a friend, and yet you'll be able to meet up and have a grand time. This requires you to relax and the other person to speed up.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Magnetism is an important part of a relationship, but it's not the only thing that matters. Interact on many levels, and you'll be able to bridge the inevitable dips of attraction that happen in every relationship.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're nice to the one who is nice to you. You're also nice to the one who's not, which proves that being nice is who you are and not what you do to get what you want.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The future will be fundamentally different from the way it appears in your mind's eye, but this is no reason to stop imagining it. Doing so gives you focus.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your nearest and dearest buddies are highly suited to your humor and personality. Today it shows. You realize that when you were choosing your friends, you did an excellent job.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You and the fish for which your sign is named have something in common now. Neither of you is very concerned about the future, because you are managing what the water brings you in this moment.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Aug. 20). The serendipity starts immediately. September places you in opportunity's path. You'll turn an ordinary situation into an extraordinary moneymaker within 10 weeks. Family news is stellar in November. New influences, especially from books, will lift your work to new heights in 2013. Taurus and Aries people bring laughter and good times. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 2, 39, 50 and 14.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "My problem is the receptionist at the front desk where I work. Why this person was hired is a mystery to me. She has a bizarre look to her, as she draws in her lips and eyebrows and wears her hair in an extreme up-do. But that's not the problem. She's unpleasant to everyone who comes into the office, treating people as though they are interruptions instead of valued clients. She does the rest of her office work well, but the bad vibes she puts out must be off-putting. I think she sends the wrong message about our company. How can I get my Leo boss to see things the way I do and hire someone else? I'm an Aquarius."

The receptionist's style may be an affront to your natural Aquarian tendency to treat all people with respect. However, the receptionist was not your hire, and you are not her boss. Remind your boss that the front desk receptionist is often the first impression a client has of a company, and that she sets the tone for future interactions and should therefore reflect the values of the company. Remind him of this but once, and then let it go.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: The effervescent Amy Adams usually plays the optimist amid impossibly dire circumstances, and according to her natal chart, that optimism is a strong current in her real life, as well. Her sun and Venus in radiant Leo complements her natal Jupiter in soulful Pisces. A Libra moon sets the stage for enduring partnerships and an easygoing way with domestic life.
