In the Middle Ages, it was widely believed that a unicorn's horn had magical powers, but that due to its purity and great strength it couldn't be captured to harness those powers except by a virgin of equal purity.

Given the modern associations of the unicorn to fanciful youth and the wonderment of childhood, I would suggest that your dream has to do with feeding and tending to the child inside of you.
