FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: The sun sails through Gemini, the sign of the twins, opening our eyes to trends and our ears to fun conversations. If the Gemini sun were an attraction, it would be the carnival that comes to a small town, turning what was once an ordinary parking lot into a source of sweetness, memories, spinning fun, barkers and games. There is much to be won during this transit, but, as is the case with real carnivals, the seemingly easy spoils (cheaply made toys paid for many times over by the expense and improbability of the game) are not the big takeaway. Rather, it's the time spent with loved ones, taking in the excitement of a Ferris wheel or a squirt-gun game.

At the top of the week, the Mars and Saturn opposition under the sign of the twins brings the dualities of life into stark relief. We are made better through resistance. It's the weight of the world that makes us strong. Without anything to fight or tug or think against, our minds and bodies would go weak. Thursday will bring harmony to any ongoing conflict with a Venus-Saturn trine there to negotiate terms for both parties.
