The water and air combination of the Pisces sun and the Gemini moon is like a high-powered cosmic bubble machine. Delightful! So if you feel creative and free, like life is just one big toddler's birthday party and you're about to take your turn on the pony, then you're truly in the spirit of this lucky weekend.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). There's a competitive mood going on, especially between close friends, and you're not sure that you want to be a part of it. You're feeling at peace with who you are and content with what you have, so why bother?
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Some character flaws are so deeply ingrained that it would be miraculous to fix them overnight, even if one were to try. You're not only not in the mood for improvement, but you'll go so far as to find a way to capitalize on your flaws.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Be wary of those who think they're doing you a favor. The real favors come as gifts from people who don't even think of them as favors. They are just naturally inclined toward generosity.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Attaining the trappings of success is overrated. More isn't better, especially not if you have to diminish yourself to get it. You're on a mission to save your own soul.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Introspection brings a realization. Carl Jung said that your vision will only become clear when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 24). It's a profitable year as you find ways to redirect your money from unnecessary and unfruitful places toward what matters most to you. Family time is golden in March. You nurture others in a way they'll never forget. Your stars align to help you make a quantum career leap in June. Some marry in August. Capricorn and Taurus people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 20, 44, 50 and 16.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're looking at the big picture again. The day presents you with many reasonable options. However, don't be practical about deciding what your life's passion is, as passion is the antithesis of practicality.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). There have been stressful aspects to your job lately, but things are looking up. After a cup of coffee and a casually paced morning, you may decide that your work isn't a burden, but a blessing.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You can work on your skills till the cows come home, but it's not your skills that will ultimately create success. The right attitude, coupled with the latest information, brings victory. Seek a qualified mentor.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Ease up on your expectations of a new project. Like cakes on the griddle, the first one doesn't usually turn out so great. Toss it and try again. You'll soon get to something golden.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You're cheeky, experimental and zany-to-the-extreme. You'll either be lauded as a genius or wind up in somebody's "Fashion Don't" file. Either way, your attitude attracts the best and the brightest to you.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your friends are your wealth. You may think you don't have time to make any more, but the stars disagree and send new prospects your way. Your habit of giving people more than they expect pays off big time.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). People expand under your praise, becoming a more vibrant version of themselves. And if you go so far as to applaud someone, the repercussions of your clapping could positively alter the course of history.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "Please explain the compatibility between Pisces and Taurus as marriage partners."
I don't believe that astrology is meant to limit our choices in any way, especially not in love. Therefore, let me first say that any astrological coupling can work, each in a different way, highlighting unique aspects of our personality and focusing our lives on different kinds of issues. Pisces is a water sign, and Taurus, a sign of the earth. These two have many qualities together that can make a marriage successful. However, hard work is implied in this coupling. If both parties are willing to make the marriage a priority, the combined assets that befall this twosome are well worth the effort. Pisces brings out the most profound and provocative emotions in stoic Taurus. Together they make the subtle nuances of love their playground. Romance is a strong suit with these two. Both know how to savor each sweet moment together. So where does the work come in? Taurus has a hard time understanding Pisces' mood swings and can become inflexible. Pisces likes that Taurus is adept at making decisions, but will resent that Taurus' stubborn streak keeps those decisions unamendable.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: The ubiquitous Dakota Fanning is a prime example of Pisces precociousness. She's barely a teenager, and she already has more than 30 film credits. But it's not just because she's a media darling, poised and professional. It's also because she's a serious talent. Pisces is the sign of spiritual morphing — ideal for actors who can melt into whatever role they choose.
