The Saturn and Neptune position highlights the following principle: If people hear claims that rub against their worldview, they'll need them to be substantiated several ways before they'll believe them, and maybe even then they won't buy in. But statements that fall within the worldview are easily and readily accepted, no matter how false they may be.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You wouldn't like it if everyone agreed with you, had similar opinions and complied with your wishes. You thrive in a diverse and interesting group and would be bored otherwise.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You don't need to do or be anything more than you are to be memorable. Because you interact in a truthful and real way, you'll create powerful moments and memories that last and last.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Here you go again, into your favorite kind of territory — uncharted. On this journey, your most necessary and valuable travel accessory will be your open mind.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You've no shortage of goals for yourself, but it's better to pick just one and pursue it to completion. Keeping your word to yourself is a leading cause of confidence and self-esteem.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). There are many ways to say "I love you," yet there are only a few that feel natural to you. What about exploring the others? If you do it today, you'll have tremendous results.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Would it be trite just to tell you not to worry so much? You've heard it a million times. Yes, it would be redundant, perhaps even annoying. Yet there is none so apt a message for the day as this one. Don't worry so much. OK?
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). If you can be the reason for another person's happiness, you will be. It's not as if you set out to make this your aim, but you'll do it because when there are people close to you who need your help, you're compelled.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're kind and therefore attracted to nice people — including today's kind character, who will negotiate a sticky situation in a clean way, to the benefit of all.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Is it a work, or is it a toy? This is the question, as your work blurs into playtime and your playtime requires labor. Either way, the result will be a lot of fun.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). When the people around you don't represent your worldview and actually say things that annoy you on the regular, well, what's to be done? Stand and represent. You'll make a difference.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Here's a strategy: Place distance between you and the thing that's robbing you of your peace. Don't worry; this doesn't count as running away. This is running toward something — mainly, your center.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You'll play at a different level. This changes everything. It's not that you're putting in more effort. Anyone can do that. This is different; it's an awareness, an insight. That's the star ingredient.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Jan. 27). Your imagination will grow vivid as you use it more, and use it you will, as this is no time to play it safe. You're a favored child of the universe! To land on what's possible, you must shoot for what's impossible. Highlights include three new friends, an extravaganza of an event and the transformation of your workspace. Libra and Scorpio adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 4, 33, 28 and 19.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: Venus transited Scorpio in September and October, an adventure that was extended by a retrograde period, and we had plenty of time to get used to the mystery, intimacy and soulfulness of this Venus position. Relationships were started and made deeper. Promises were made to ourselves and others. Then Venus slipped into Sagittarius and shifted the focus. A restless curiosity began to swell. The needs of the soul couldn't seem to be fulfilled by getting deeper; rather, all signs pointed to going wider. It's a big world. We still haven't met most of the people or done all the things. Venus' transit in Sagittarius has given us the motivation to seek experience.
This will be the last full week of Venus' stay in Sagittarius. On Feb. 3, the next Venus incarnation will begin. In light of this, there's an opportunity not to be missed. What haven't you done yet? Whom haven't you connected with? It's not your last chance, but as February progresses, other priorities having to do with work and responsibility will seem more important. So seize the fiery energy of this Venus before the flames burn out.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: When Emmy Award winner Patton Oswalt isn't entertaining and informing his millions of Twitter followers this year, he'll be busily working on two television series, "Happy!" and "Veronica Mars," as well as major film projects such as "The Secret Life of Pets 2." Oswalt was born under an unconventional Aquarius sun and has three major planets in soulful water signs.
