DEAR STACY: I know it's sick, but I have a little crush on the actor who plays Mayhem in the Allstate commercials. A co-worker says he used to play Denis Leary's brother on "Rescue Me." Can you tell me about him? Married? Kids? How tall is he? — Thirst for Danger, Melanie B., Cape Coral, Fla

DEAR THIRST: You're talking about New York City native Dean Winters, who did indeed play Leary's police detective brother on the FX Network show. He's also had regular roles on "30 Rock" (as Dennis Duffy) and "Oz" (as Ryan O'Riley), and was seen as Sarah Connor's love interest in "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." The never-married, 47-year-old, 6-foot-1 Colorado College graduate is the eldest of four siblings. Brother Scott, also an actor, portrayed his brother on "Oz." Winters' film roles include "Conspiracy Theory," "All Shook Up" and the forthcoming Lena Olin mystery thriller, "Devil You Know."

DEAR STACY: I love the kooky, bouncy song used in the Lowe's commercial. Who is that singing, and is the song available? — Deanna F., Torrance, Calif.

DEAR DEANNA: That's the immensely gifted New Zealand singer-songwriter Gin Wigmore singing "Don't Stop" from her 2009 "Holy Smoke" album. The 25-year-old artist was also heard on "Weeds," when the show used her song "Hey Ho." With her "Gravel and Wine" album released last November, she's getting to be a bigger and bigger international star.

DEAR STACY: Whatever happened to Kene Holliday, who used to play on "Matlock" in the '80s? — Paul C., Warren, Ohio

DEAR PAUL: Kene's primary occupation in recent years has been serving as caregiver for his mother, who has Alzheimer's disease. He is still acting, however, including occasional TV guest roles and the 2007 movie "Great World of Sound," which garnered him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance, Male. He spent much of his time between 1996 and 2006 touring with his wife, well-known evangelist Linda Copling Holliday.

DEAR STACY: I would like to know whether Daniel Radcliffe is related to Mark Radcliffe, one of the producers of the "Harry Potter" movies. — Stephen R., Lewiston, Pa.

DEAR Stephen: Londoner Daniel is no relation to Oklahoma-born Mark.
