Between the Mars retrograde and the full moon in Capricorn, there will be some turbulence that's bound to stir up both positive and negative sensations. The energy of sensations is transported as energy most often is — in waves. All sensations have a life cycle: They surge, crest, die down and end. It will be easier to appreciate and tolerate feelings when we remember that, for better or worse, they won't last.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). When a plant doesn't grow, it's neither the plant's fault nor the environment's fault. Rather, it's a bad match between the two. Of course, the environment, not the plant, is what can be changed — a metaphor to take to heart now. Nothing about you needs to change. Put yourself in the environment that supports you.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Because of the halo effect, people often assume the very best in those they already like a lot and the worst in people they don't. But each instance is different. Don't make assumptions. Isolate events and assess them according to what happened, not according to how well it all fits into a narrative you'd like to believe.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). It is said that in talking you are repeating what you already know. But it's also possible to discover through talk. Sometimes you don't have a clue about what you know because there are so many layers to knowledge and most of the layers are unconscious. This week's excellent conversations will be most revealing.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). The temptation will be to spend money. You'll be made to feel like that's what everyone is doing. You don't want to be left out! But is it just a marketing ploy? Investigate your current resources. Most of what you need is either already yours (but stashed away, so you need to find it) or available through friends.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Life will be like a potluck this week. You'll put thought into your offerings, and that part happens at home. Bring it and leave it to share. Then forget about it. When it's out of your hands, it should be out of your mind, too. Also, note that you're just as entitled as anyone else to all the other dishes on the table.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Fun is contagious. But as is the case with most contagions, some people are more susceptible to it than others. This is why it's always good to consider your audience. This goes double for any kind of fun that's intended for a professional setting, which has entirely different rules. As long as you think things through, you'll do great.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Someone is trying rather hard to impress you, which usually works the opposite way, because it's human nature to be impressed by confidence, and confidence doesn't pander. Your best tactic isn't to run the other direction; rather, it's to put others at ease so you can see all they really have to offer.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). The Rodgers and Hammerstein song poses the question, "What's the use of wond'ring if he's good or if he's bad?" which sums up your love life (fill in correct gender). You love whom you love, behavior notwithstanding. It will be better to lean in to try and understand than hang back in judgment.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). As for taking the next step: Greater consideration is advised before you leap. Thinking hard may be counterproductive, but thinking long is favored. Buy some time for decision-making. Days, or even just hours, will change your perspective. Also, ask around. Aries and Leo will contribute key information.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You'll spend some time doing the equivalent of planting trees so that future generations can sit in the shade. It's an excellent example of how having intention and a plan makes things happen with effortless grace when time and the environment are on your side. There's no urgency. Life is gently unfolding.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). From a human safety perspective, the world's most dangerous things — the things that hurt humans most regularly — tend toward the mundane. If you've made it past the baths, stairs and kitchen knives without getting hurt, you really needn't worry; you're ahead of the game. Continue on with gusto, brave warrior!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). People are better in relationships when they are better by themselves. A person who is self-satisfying, self-soothing and self-entertaining is actually not experienced by others to be selfish at all, rather such a realized person makes wonderful company. You'll see and be the example of this.
THIS WEEK'S BIRTHDAYS: You'll find there's less to worry about this solar return. Superficial things that have kept you from peace and love will no longer stand in your way. You'll do business with the warmhearted, improving things for people who need help. There will be a leap in education that helps you figure out an issue that was plaguing a certain group. Developments in a key relationship will have you traveling and socking away money for something you both want. Happy news comes in October.
