Obama: From Valiant to Victicrat

Comment
Billed as an "important speech about race," presidential candidate Barack Obama condemned some of the remarks of his pastor, Jeremiah Wright. But Obama refused to denounce the man himself, considering him family. Commentators gushed over this "groundbreaking," "stirring" speech about the "state of race relations in America."

Funny, some people actually thought that Obama might explain why he chose and attends a church led by a hateful, anti-Semitic, racist America-condemning pastor, a man whom Obama refers to as his "spiritual advisor."

Long before the blowup over Barack Obama's pastor, I wrote about this angry, "Afrocentric" church in my new book, "Stupid Black Men: How to Play the Race Card -- and Lose."

"Barack Obama," I wrote, "attends Chicago's popular Trinity United Church of Christ. He described its minister, Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., as his 'spiritual mentor.' On its Web site, Trinity United Church of Christ describes itself: 'We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. … It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.'

"Consider the grief President George W. Bush attracted when he gave a speech at Bob Jones University, an institution that formerly banned interracial dating. Imagine a Republican attending a church that professed 'Caucasian-centric' Bible readings. According to an article in Rolling Stone, Reverend Wright said, 'Racism is how this country was founded and this country is still run! … We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns and the training of professional KILLERS. … We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God. … We conducted radiation experiments on our own people. … We care nothing about human life if the ends justify the means! And. And. And! GAWD! Has GOT! To be SICK! OF THIS SHIT!'

"Jeremiah Wright also helped to organize the Million Man March, spearheaded by the anti-Semitic, homophobic, anti-Catholic Minister Louis Farrakhan. Wright also, accompanied by Farrakhan, visited Muammar el-Qaddafi of Libya. In an interview about whether this kind of activity might hurt Obama's prospects, Wright said, 'When his enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli (to visit Qaddafi) with Farrakhan, a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell.'

"At the first Sunday service following the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Wright preached that the attacks were a consequence of violent U.S.

policies. And four years later, Wright wrote that the 9/11 attacks were proof that 'people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just disappeared as the Great White West went on its merry way of ignoring Black concerns.'"

Wright's musings -- part David Duke, part Louis Farrakhan and part Moe from the Three Stooges -- include the following:

-- "We started the AIDS virus. … We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty. …"

-- "God damn America … for killing innocent people. God damn America for threatening citizens as less than humans. God damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and supreme."

-- "We bombed Hiroshima. We bombed Nagasaki. And we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because of stuff we have done overseas is now brought back into our own backyard. America is chickens coming home to roost."

-- "The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of genocide against people of color. The government lied."

-- "Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary would never know that. Hillary ain't never been called a nigger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a nonperson."

Obama gave a soaring speech at the Democratic National Convention in 2004, in which he said, "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America. There is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America. There is the United States of America. … We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America."

Once upon a time, Obama actually told "60 Minutes'" Steve Kroft, "I think if I don't win this race, it will be because of other factors. It's gonna be because I have not shown to the American people a vision for where the country needs to go that they can embrace."

Oh, well. It was nice while it lasted.

You're kidding right. A few weeks back Bill Maher said something that I completely agree with. Just to paraphrase he said something like this, "I'm tired of people saying that the American people are smarter than that. No they aren't. Americans are stupid."

He couldn't be more correct. Americans, collectively, are a bunch of moronic sheep. How could anyone be serious about this? America has enslaved Africans, practically committed genocide against Native Americans, held Japanese in 'concentration' camps, conducted the Tuskegee experiment, invaded a sovereign nation at the whim of an arrogant administration, but yet she (America) is beyond reproach. This is what you're saying? Larry Elder I denounce you as a black man because I don't agree with anything that you say. Please hand in your black card at the entrance. Mr. Obama has done more than enough to satisfy most people. My guess is that the reason you make these statements and make these requests of him is that because you yourself are too stupid to understand the meaning of being a human. As a matter of fact I denounce you as a human. Please take Ann Coulter with you.

Why is it that people can't seem to see Obama for what he really is? He is nothing but a secondary Wright. Since he refused to denounce Wright, than it is telling us, the people of this nation, that he agreed with every malicious word his "spiritual mentor" had to say. I have never in my entire life have heard such abusive and racism language coming from any minister of any church I have attended. And to top it off, Obama seems to linger to this obnoxious behavior from Wright. Every chance Obama gets he will bring up racism in his campaigns or speaches. Why can't he campaign on the economy, the lack of jobs, and on the war that is still going on and not mention racism? It seems that that subject is what turns him on. Truthfully, he is the one that is keeping racism alive. Instead of trying to become president, he should become a minister and join his beloved "spritiul mentor" as they would make a good twosome. I just hope he is not elected president as then this nation is going to be in worse status than what it is now. People need to dig further into his past as I'm sure there is more dirty laundry.

Obama's grandmother comment was more about MALES than about BLACK.
Ask a typical woman and most likely she would say it is the adult MALE of any color that is far more threatening prospect to encounter than a female of any color. Women have good reason to be fearful of strange men. This is a gender perspective from living as a woman.
I challenge the news media to go to Hawaii and ask Obama's grandmother was it the color or the gender that disturbed her most?

Obama is immune to the harsh words of the people he loves. Imagine how he felt when grandma came home and said, "Obama, those n------coming down that street scared me to death!" So when he heard Rev. Wright speak he took it with a grain of salt. Because he had seen the other side of that coin since he was a baby! Did he disown his dirty-mouthed grandmother? No he loved her in spite of. Why should he have left his church? He had all his life let the rantings of his grandmother roll of his back like so much filthy water. And he still loved her. So it was with Rev. Wright But all this served to make him thick-skinned, with a hearty stamina and strong. Strength. That's what we need in a president. At long last. Finally. As for the "typical white" statement. Let me tell you how I am a "typical black". I live in a city where there are places an African-American can't go. Day or night. The far Northeast, parts of South Philly, parts of Kensington. WE all in Philadelphia know this. So, Caucasian and African-America don't pretend you don't understand where Obama is coming from. You have places in your city like that also. No

Wright speak he took it with a grain of salt. Because he had seen the other side of that coin since he was a baby! This he should have explained when he was challenged. Did he disown his dirty-mouthed grandmother? No, he loved her in spite of. Why should he have left his church? He had all his life let the rantings of his grandmother roll of his back like so much filthy water. And he still loved her. So it was with Rev. Obama loves his country. He is not thrilled with the way it is being run right now but who is? Rev. Wright is just a black man who loves his country, but is not enjoying himself living here because of people who make it difficult. He too has lived in Philadelphia so he also knows the truth.
As for Hillary, I would vote for her if Obama was not in the race, over McCain. But how can she convince us that she can "satisfy" an entire angry, chomping at the bit country, when she has proven she could not even "satisfy" Bill?

Real Brother here.

As per the Rev. Wrights claims about Whites creating Aids to wipe out Blacks like is happening in Dafar and happened in Australia, Mexico and much of the Carribean, (Brazil, Puerto Rico). In Todays Washington Post and reprinted in the LA Times was a story about the US spending 500 million dollars a year in AFRICA developing two promising VACCINES that they've been injecting into Africans and today it was reported that neither VACCINES worked on the BLACK AFRICANS that were INJECTED with the HIV VIRUS and in face the WHITE Scientists using Blacks as human test rats found that Blacks who were given one of the VACCINES were more likely to develop FULL BLOWN AIDS from the HIV that the BLACK AFRICANS were INJECTED WITH (by the White Suprmacists who Rev. Wright mistakely said are INJECTING BLACKS WITH AIDS to wipe Blacks out).

So no, the stated purpose was NOT to wipe Blacks out but to find a cure for Whites who may contract Aids but still they are USING BLACKS as Test Subjects in Africa and they do it because 99.9% of Whites(non-Blacks) believe that the Black Race is inferior.

So again if the White US Govt. admits to TESTING and GIVING AIDS VIRUS' TO AFRICANS then why wouldn't it be concievable that the White US Govt. injected Aids in Black Africans?

No Sellout.

It thrills me that Barak has been exposed to the viewpoints of all these people. I trust he has the ability of discernment to take from the teachings the message that there is still a radical divide among many blacks as whites. As a man, he has rounded out his education on his ethnicity. His birth as a man of negro & caucasion heritage has exposed him to life in White America & Black America. Distinctly different cultures. Having been immersed in both cultures at different periods of his life has given him the opportunity to mull over a viewpoint to which most white Americans have never been exposed. It gives him insight into how people and nations outside the USA might view Americans and the USA. John & Hilary I bet have never been exposed to these viewpoints, consequently could never wrap their minds around finding a common ground as a people, a nation, and a world. What you have revealed about Barak in this article makes me an even stronger Obama supporter as a man who can find common ground and lead a nation.

MS.MD, are you serious, or not who you say you are? To try to present the argument that the grandmother or anyone would have the same level of alertness when seeing just males hanging on a corner is crazy. If you see a pitbull standing in your yard one day and the next day you see poodle standing in your yard---- which day did you come out? The day MOST of us will come out is the second day. This is the TYPICAL response of sane people. Should the word TYPICAL be taken out of the dictionary now? I am a VN vet with plenty of situations that are not ..well trust me if I see a group of white males my level of alertness is WAYYY low compared to a group of Black males. You see I see America news (marching orders) every morning and the first nine articles were about Black males: three about shootouts, three about robberies last night, one about beating a baby to death (momma ... ). one about mayor of Detroit and one about staling from cars. So when I went out this morning- who was I scanning the AO (area of operation for) . I am more scared in America than I was in Vietnam--- there I could at least defend myself without be judge by people who didnt have TYPICAL in THEIR dictionaries. PS I am a Black male from the segegated period of America. Believe me you had better use- typical responses -in BADNEWS, VA.
