Riders on the Storm

I have so few words to express the depth of my disgust with the unconstitutional path and passing of Obamacare and the corruption in Congress. So let me just tell you about the storm coming to Washington.

The majority of Americans have voiced ad nauseam their grave concerns with and rejection of Washington's health care bills. Like a host of other commentators, I have written at least a dozen syndicated articles this past year addressing sound objections. And like you, I've joined rallies, signed petitions and passed along a plethora of reasonable nonpartisan negative critiques of Obamacare. But at every turn, Washington has ignored us and demonized our opposition.

Obamacare violates commerce laws by forcing Americans to purchase a product and annihilates the federal government's 10th Amendment restrictions over U.S. states and citizens, which is why a whopping two-thirds of states across the nation already are legally battling over whether federal law can trump state laws via Obamacare.

Why can't Washington see that the main problem with Obamacare is not its costs, coverage or faulty projected savings, but that the federal government should not be involved in the health care business at all?! According to the Constitution, such a matter should be left to the free market, citizens, local communities and states.

But that's history now. One-sixth of our economy will be controlled by the federal government, and we're supposed to blindly accept that's not a socialistic tendency. The fact is that despite the Congressional Budget Office's projected savings, Obamacare will morph and inflate (along with its costs) in the years to come. Has any government program not done so? As President Barack Obama admitted to Fox's Bret Baier last week, "Yes, it's one-sixth of the economy, but we're not transforming one-sixth of the economy all in one fell swoop." There are the key words: "all in one fell swoop."

Mark my words: The terms in this health care bill eventually will be so far-reaching that it will become a major foundation for a fundamentally different America, from which will sprout many tentacles that will choke out other freedoms. This is not just a health care bill; it's a metastasizing tool and weapon for all forms of federal intrusion and takeover.

In areas that the feds can't cover or control presently, absence and subtlety in the bill's language will provide the springboard for their future rule.

But the time for commentary and dialogue is over. The final hour has come. Our Constitution is on life support, and the federal government is pulling the plug.

As there is before an impending death or brewing storm, there's a hush at the moment, but most of us sense that there's something very, very wrong on the horizon.

It reminds me of a few years ago, when Dr. James Foster from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center tackled the question of whether there really is a period of calm before a storm. His answer: There definitely is.

Foster noted, "It was recognized long ago that before a severe storm, the air is still and the birds stop singing and go to shelter."

What's true with weather is also true with Washington. Many patriots have stopped singing. Some have gone into hiding. Others are gathering wood as we trudge through this Valley Forge. But all will reawaken and fight for the republic our Founders laid down for us.

The gray and black clouds are not governmental control, but masses of American citizens and patriots who will continue to swarm tyranny (Democrat and Republican) until it is squeezed out of our nation, just as it was during the American Revolution.

For now, all Washington bureaucrats need to know is this: The forecast for the U.S. Capitol in the upcoming weeks and months is definitely thunderstorms. If you encouraged, affirmed, endorsed or voted for Obamacare in any form, expect a dark cloud to precede your exit as we vote you out of office. We will remember in November. That's not only a threat; it's a guarantee.

We the people have come to understand the profound wisdom of Thomas Jefferson, who wrote to Abigail Adams in 1787, "I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere."

Washington: Pack your bags. Run for shelter. The storm is coming.

(To inspire and renew the founding spirit of our republic, I encourage patriots everywhere to purchase the brand-new photo book "Don't Tread on US!" for which I have written the foreword. The book is a collection of motivating and patriotic photos from rallies, tea parties and protests over the past year across the country.)

Here is one response Chuck that may give cause for encouragement. It comes up in today's google site news on the Republican commitment to fight to repeal the bill. "During the sometimes raucous debate ahead of last night's votes, Republican lawmakers again and again characterized the Democratic legislation as a government takeover of health care, and said the American people oppose it. Republican Representative Dave Camp of Michigan put it like this: "The American people have spoken," said Dave Camp. "They do not want the tentacles of the federal government reaching into their lives and controlling their personal health care decisions. Yet that is exactly what will happen under the Democrats' health-care bill."" Here's another, from Psalm 37:35-36. "I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found." Take heart, Bro. Chuck, the old KJB will not be denied.

Dear Chuck Norris, Good article! Thought your readers would like to see this video "The Renegar" -
Obama and his airheads may have thought they've just 'TAKEN TAXPAYERS FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS AWAY', but the fat cats behind him, pushing this healthcare disaster, had better get ready for their trip to GITMO with him and his gangs, as what they've done doesn't deserve a trial. They've committed treason against the American people for the last time, haven't they?
"Insurance Outrage!" This brought me back to writing about
incompetent, corrupt and greedy politicians, instead of working on my
novels. I've written several articles about how to 'Stop the Trillions from
flowing into politicians' pockets from insurance and drug companies!'
take a rocket scientist to figure this out how these 'donations' created
such deterioration to America.

What happened to honesty, integrity, principles and respect when people had
to pay their own way, their own doctors and hospitals? Let's see, this was
before decades of the incompetent, corrupt, and greedy blood-sucking ticks
and their very deep pockets!

Taxpayers do you remember the 'Heartbeat of America' - American textile and
furniture manufacturing businesses making and selling their goods;
therefore, being able to buy homes, cars, and food for their families.
Politicians took this away from hard-working Taxpayers with their 'Free
Trade', stating America would become a service country. Really, the only
servicing being done now is unemployment, social and welfare offices! Fair
Tax' must be put into law, making everyone a paying participant!

When are Taxpayers going to hear the words "We, the politicians, are going
to stop taking donations from insurance, drug companies or any company,
or person. We intend to cut our salaries and retirements to $12,000.00
yearly, in order to reduce the trillion dollars we've borrowed without
Taxpayers consent!"

I'm quoting from latest articles "AIG reports losses as insurance business
lags - the insurer reports a drop in new premiums as it struggles to repay
government aid! Fannie Mae seeks $15 billion in aid, which would bring total
to more than $75 billion (plus) and the Tax and Spend incompetent, corrupt,
blood-sucking ticks continue to spend America into an oblivion. Taxpayers
knew when the 'bailouts' (handouts) started there would be no end to these
endless money pits created by politicians. While I'm on a roll, for over
five (5) decades Taxpayers have heard politicians talking about government
reform, ethics, housing, education, healthcare, crime, drugs, insurance and
the list goes on. Point is, all they've done is create bigger government,
more spending, and absolutely has been done nor will be done. Can't think of
a better paying career with no thinking or labor involved, can you?

America is now an enslaved nation with trillions of dollars in debt, and
counting, and all
because of incompetent, corrupt, and greedy politicians. I'm quoting John
Adams - "There are two ways to
conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword, the other is by debt."
Surely, you remember history and the Dictator that said "We'll destroy
America and never lift a finger!" If this doesn't wake you up, nothing will!

I'm surprised it took this long for the government to get their hands on the cash cow of health care. (The health insurance lobbyists must have stop paying them off) What better way to assure their wealth (not to mention assert more control over the populace) than to divert this big money stream into their own pockets?

The invisible 3rd part of government, the bureaucracy is responsible, see my blog post, titled "To my old friend Brenda" at:

We need to educate and motivate the people to call for total reform of this tyrannical arm of our government. They have been socialist, long before any candidates thought of it. You can not kill a tree cutting off a few branches or trimming it. You must attack the root.

The root of socialism in America is in the bureaucracy, which is currently non-elected and therefore non-responsible and non-responsive to the American people. We have to change that. That change and that change alone is the only way to rid America of socialism.

When the First Amendment says "Congress (the only branch authorized to make law), shall make no law establishing religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof", and you see the bureaucracy, and the Supreme Court, violating both aspects of this provision, by establishing "Secular Humanism" as the state religion, and then prohibiting the practice of all other religions they deem offensive, you know we must act or loose our nation.

I'm a veteran, and the country I served is no longer here. Instead we have not a "democratic republic" our fore fathers founded but a demigodracy, ruled by self proclaimed demigods and without the consent of the people. Obama's refusal to both listen to the people and intentionally run over us, proves that.

My question to all the readers:

What are you going to do about it?
