Cafe con Leche receives Glyph Award nomination
Charlos Gary's newest comic strip Cafe con Leche has been named as a finalist for the 2009 Glyph Award in the category of "Best Comic."
They Glyph Awards take their name for the blog Glyphs: The Language of the Black Comics Community at Pop Culture Shock (http://glyphs.popcultureshock.com), which comics journalist Rich Watson started in 2005. These awards, "strive to honor those who have made the greatest contributions to the comics medium in terms of both critical and commercial impact." Read more about the Glyph awards.
