Daddy's Home moves in.
Daddy's Home, an immensely popular new strip by veterans Gary Markstein and Tony Rubino, brings home a change to one newspaper's comics page this month. The comic has been running less than a year, but it already has experienced considerable success. This time, it's replacing the long-running For Better or For Worse and taking up permanent residency in the Lexington Herald-Leader's comics section.

The Herald-Leader announced last Thursday that the comic would be moving in next week. Daddy's Home was the substitute earlier this year during a brief Doonesbury hiatus, and according to the paper, it elicited strong reader response during its stay.

Rubino and Markstein's combined effort makes Daddy's Home a standout with its hilarious writing, crisp drawing and relatable characters. The modern content lends itself to side-splitting hilarity and wry sarcasm equally well.
