Simon and Luckovich garner National Headliner Awards
Creators columnist Roger Simon and editorial cartoonist Mike Luckovich have both been named recipients of National Headliner Awards.
Simon, who joined the Creators Syndicate stable of columnists last year, won third place in the Special or Feature Column on One Subject category; Luckovich was awarded second place in the Editorial Cartoons category.
Founded in 1934 by the Press Club of Atlantic City, the National Headliner Awards program is one of the oldest and largest annual contests recognizing journalistic merit in the communications industry.
