Creamy Blind Faith: The first supergroup was Cream, a blues rock outfit that included guitarist Eric Clapton, drummer Ginger Baker and bassist Jack Bruce. Replace Bruce with Steve Winwood and you have another superband, Blind Faith, which only recorded one album. And that album ran into lots of trouble for putting a topless tween girl on the cover. (Clapton had also been in the Yardbirds, which was more like a superstar training camp: Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page were also members.)

Weird Superbands: It's not unusual for members of different bands to come together. What is unusual is an amalgam of punk, metal and new wave. Neurotic Outsiders came together as a 1995 jam band at the Viper Room in L.A.

It originally included Billy Idol, but the main lineup was Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses, and John Taylor of Duran Duran. They even recorded an album in 1996 for Madonna's Maverick Records.

Can you answer this in the heat of the moment? Steve Howe from Yes and Carl Palmer from ELP were part of what continentally named supergroup?

A) Africa

B) America

C) Asia

D) Europe

Previous answer: Joe Walsh was the "new kid in town" with the Eagles.
