Flintstones with Robots: The Jetsons might be a cult classic TV family today, but their series was actually a flop when it originally ran. It lasted just one season, producing only 24 episodes during the 1962-63 TV season. But as it gained in popularity in syndication, another two years of shows were made in the mid-80s. Whereas the original focused on the wonders of rocketry, the newer episodes looked more at computers.

Go Ahead, Make My Lunch: Introduced in Oklahoma in 1987, a "Make My Day" law reinforces your right to use armed force to defend your home against intruders. This is also called the castle doctrine, as in "your home is your castle." The opposing idea is that you have a "duty to retreat" from an attack.

By the way, the line "make my day" actually appears in the 1983 movie "Sudden Impact," not in "Dirty Harry," although Clint Eastwood is playing Harry.
