Trivia Bits Friday, June 5

Tiananmen Square: Today is the 20th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, in which several thousand people were murdered as the Chinese military cleared pro-democracy protesters from a square whose name means Gate of Heavenly Peace. The most famous protester is unknown: Tank Man stood in front of a row of tanks and for a moment blocked them from entering the square, until he was removed by government agents.

Antichrist Trivia: Tomorrow is June 6, or 6/6. Three years ago, in 2006, June 6 would have been 6-6-06, or 666, the number of the beast. Naturally, that was the date that the new version of the movie "The Omen" was released, since it is about the Antichrist as a child.

Some scholars, however, think the Number of the Beast may have been 616. And then, of course, you have 668, which is Neighbor of the Beast. (Sorry ... old joke ... couldn't resist.)
