World War III: Ever wonder how WWIII might have played out? Had the Soviets attacked first, most believe the Warsaw Pact would have headed for Frankfurt, pouring through a less-rugged German area called the Fulda Gap. It is also very likely that NATO would have used tactical nukes to compensate if it were outnumbered and once nukes are on the board, the Soviets would have been tempted to start throwing them at North America.
