1. Name the conference where the leaders of the World War II superpowers — Great Britain, the Soviet Union and the United States — agreed on the postwar occupation of Germany.

3. Throughout history, many countries have undergone name changes. Can you give the former names of the following countries: Iran, Iraq, Switzerland, Zaire and Zimbabwe?

4. On Jan. 1, 1959, this island-nation fell to a revolutionary who later declared himself to be a Communist. Name the country. For bragging rights, name the dictator.

5. This great grandson of an Italian immigrant twice ruled a Latin American nation. Elected to a first term, he created a dictatorship, was unseated in a military coup and then returned to power two decades later. Name him.

6. Following on question No. 5, when that dictator died in office, who succeeded him as president?

7. The Nuremberg Trials marked the first time in history that those who had led the world into war were placed on trial for their acts. There were three classes of "war crimes." Can you name them?

8. How many defendants were tried at the Nuremberg Trials, and how many of them were condemned to death?

9. In the post-World War II era, there was much ado about the "Big Three" nations. Which nations were the Big Three?

10. This accomplice to Fidel Castro was killed attempting to organize a revolution in Bolivia in 1967. Name him. For bragging rights, name where he was born.

5. Juan Domingo Peron.

6. Peron was succeeded by his vice president, Maria Estela Martinez de Peron, who was also his third wife.

7. The three classes of war crimes were: crimes against peace, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

8. Twelve of the original 24 defendants were condemned to death by hanging.

9. Great Britain, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the United States of America.

10. Ernesto "Che" Guevara. He was born in Argentina.
