Eddie Chuculate of Amarillo, Texas asked us to report on the fate of Jax beer, which his dad drank when he was a kid. Jax was made by the Jackson Brewing Company of New Orleans from the mid-'50s until 1974, and in Jacksonville, Fla., prior to that. The site of the New Orleans brewery is a museum/store/restaurant complex today.
