Word of the week: "wrap rage," which is truly the latest "rage." It is the anger and frustration associated with the inability to open hard-to-remove packaging, such as the heat-sealed "clamshells" too many products come in nowadays.

Trivia detective alert: Financier/philanthropist "Diamond Jim" Brady got his nickname from his fabulous collection of diamonds and other precious gems. He was born James Buchanan Brady in August 1856, a few months before James Buchanan was elected the 15th president. Coincidence? We can't confirm that was Brady named for Buchanan. If you can help, please let us know.


On what continent was the highest wind ever measured on the Earth's surface, an attention-getting 231 miles per hour?
