Our trivia pal and word sleuth Ken Clark of Kent, Wash., has unearthed two examples of words derived from other words spelled backward. There's "mho," a unit of electrical conductance ("ohm" spelled backward), and "yob," British slang for a young hooligan ("boy" spelled backward). If you can think of other such words, please let us know.

The name "Peer Gynt" is best known by trivia fans as either of two suites of orchestral music by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg. The two Peer Gynt Suites were extracted by Grieg from the 90 minutes of original music he wrote in 1885 for the five-act Henrik Ibsen play of the same name. Because the play is so long and requires frequent scene changes, it is rarely performed these days.

More than 2,000 entertainment notables have been awarded a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
To date, only one Walk of Fame star lists both the celebrity's name and the role that celebrity was best known for. That role is:
A) Superman
B) The Lone Ranger
C) Fred Flintstone
D) Mr. Spock

Previous answer: The only time that actor brothers Peter Graves and James Arness appeared on the same TV program was on a 1971 episode of "This Is Your Life" honoring Graves.
