Rex Tyler was a biochemist at Bannermain Chemical who discovered that he could become a mini-Superman whenever he took Miraclo pills. Because his superpowers wore off after an hour, he called himself Hourman. It never seemed to occur to anybody that pharmaceutical-based powers might send the wrong message, so eventually the writers made Miraclo addictive. The current Hourman is a robot who can manipulate time.

Harrison Ford's confused fans sometimes end up at the wrong star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Harrison Ford you've never heard of was a silent movie star. He was there first. The more famous Harrison Ford maintains the older one's star, although he hadn't heard of his namesake, either. The "wrong" star is at 6665 Hollywood Blvd.
