Christine Brun is a practicing interior designer and professional member of the American Society of Interior Design, which allows her to bring practical, hands-on advice to readers who live in small homes and big homes with small nooks and crannies.

She began her career in the commercial arena and therefore has experience with restaurant, boat, retail and office design as well as the residential issues of products, sources and building materials. She graduated from San Diego State University and has taught classes in interior design in community colleges and at the Design Institute of San Diego. In her practice she designs furniture layouts, custom built-ins, kitchens and closets in remodels and new construction projects.

Her designs have been featured in San Diego Magazine, San Diego Home Garden/Lifestyles, Better Homes ad Gardens, and Kitchen and Bath Magazine. She is the author of "Big Ideas for Small Spaces."
