Horoscopes by Holiday for October 2It's the eve of the full moon in Pisces, an intoxicating influence. It's easy to get emotionally caught up in drama, whether it be real life or artistic. We are malleable under this moon, and there's a big part of us that wants to along for the ride, get carried away and lost in the fun. Take precautionary measures and stay out of trouble. ARIES (March 21-April 19). Romance requires a connection of mind, body and lifestyle. The spiritual component is equally important. You'll clarify your feelings about someone. Your compassion and affection for someone will be tested by today's events. TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You know better than to say anything negative about yourself. However, that self-depreciating humor of yours may take the conversation down the wrong road. Never put yourself down. Be vigilant about that. GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You'll be tempted to dilly-dally, take too many breaks or go soft on your demands of yourself. If you can resist that temptation, there is a big reward in it for you, and it's something you'll really enjoy. CANCER (June 22-July 22). Relationships require attention in order to stay healthy. Don't wait until there's a problem and then fix it. Instead, think ahead about what a loved one might need or like. You're a true romantic when you want to be. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The stakes are high. You sought this arrangement because you thought you could handle it. Now that you are in your desired situation, you're not so sure. Calm down and get comfortable in your own mind and skin. You'll be fine. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). It's like you're on a treasure hunt and there are hidden opportunities everywhere. This is no time to go rushing into rooms. Pause in the doorway to feel things out. Be strategic. Assess where the center of the action is and get into it. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You are not one to waste time. If you know the road is under construction, you take a different route. You'll be teaching others to get wise. They'll think your common-sense approach is nothing short of magical. SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Your ambition is meant to serve you. You are not meant to serve your ambition. A fun-loving Pisces or Aquarius can help you get out of your head and into a different perspective. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You have some real characters for friends, and when you reconnect with them, life is never boring. Make plans with your buddies that are a little unusual, even for adventurous sorts like you. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You are very close to finishing a job — closer than you know, since the end is still nowhere in sight. It's not your fault that you happen to be navigating in the fog. The important part is that you do not stop now. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You have the leadership skills needed to keep things on track for the whole group. There's another person involved who seems to be intent on throwing things in a different direction. Remind everyone of the big picture. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You'll be around those whose views are vastly different from your own, though this doesn't have to be cause for argument. Show that you have class by acknowledging the other person without engaging the issue. TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (OCTOBER 2). You'll have an increasing awareness of divine goodness as you accept and love others. A door to a different kind of life opens. Over the next three months, you'll acquire tools to help you communicate and navigate through this new world. Relationships deepen and you'll have access to abundant resources. Leo and Gemini adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 35, 41, 43 and 11. WEEKEND LOVE FORECAST: ARIES: Someone is falling in love with you — you can tell by the way this person looks at you. TAURUS: You'll be torn between two wonderful options. GEMINI: Financial issues could impact a relationship, but only if you let it happen. CANCER: You know what you bring to a relationship, but in order to keep your confidence high, you need to remind yourself. LEO: A sweet invite will grace your mailbox. VIRGO: As long as you hold a loved one in high esteem, this person will be on your side. LIBRA: You are selflessly interested in the happiness of others, which is a big part of your charm. SCORPIO: Call people back in a timely manner and relationships remain in excellent standing. SAGITTARIUS: Complimentary individuals may want something from you, but that doesn't mean the compliments aren't genuine. CAPRICORN: You'll hold up your end of the bargain and a partner does the same. AQUARIUS: You may be moved to compete for love. The winner will be the one with the strongest desire. PISCES: Your words mean the world to someone. Wield them carefully. COUPLE OF THE WEEKEND: Pisces and Leo are an exciting match who hit it off immediately and become quickly inseparable. Both love to be in the spotlight and both are a generous audience. They find each other's special attention quite addicting. It's important that they maintain their individual identities, too, because these two can become so intertwined with each other. The weekend sends them on an adventure.
