It runs through the crater Airy-0, which is named for British Astronomer Royal George Biddell Airy. And as it happens, he built the "transit circle" telescope at Greenwich that marks Earth's prime meridian. The prime meridian of Venus passes through an oval feature called Eve. Buddhism has a toehold in the United States, not just among Asian immigrants, but also among a large number of converts. Between 1990 and 2001, Buddhism grew 170 percent, and recently it has displaced Islam as the third most practiced religion, after Christianity and Judaism. Famous Buddhists include Richard Gere, Herbie Hancock, Tina Turner, Steven Seagal, Orlando Bloom and Goldie Hawn.
